What is the Best Way to Compare Godaddy and Namecheap? 1

Some folks would be content to use Godaddy and Namecheap. It is just easier that way, but why should we? The logic isn’t sound, and we should look for a better solution.

Namecheap is easy to use. We can use a simple form on the initial screen, and in just two clicks we can get up and running. We can also set our own prices and choose which domains we want to use.

Then, there are the services. From the companies’ website, we can choose from a variety of services. This includes third party domain registration, as well as free email accounts and domain renewal services.

But if we compare Godaddy and Namecheap, we see that these two services are not even on the same planet. Namecheap is top of the line, and top of the list for many reasons. First of all, they are an agency that is a trusted member of the community.

Second, their offer is backed by an excellent reputation. Godaddy has nothing. It’s just a reseller of other people’s names and money. While Godaddy is a great company, it is a far cry from Namecheap.

Third, Namecheap has excellent domain names and hosting packages. They are also very affordable and give you more options than ever before. If you look at their deals, you will see that they offer nearly everything that we used to have with the big companies, but for less money.

Now, if we compare Godaddy and Namecheap, we will find that their pricing is fairly similar. Godaddy does offer cheap prices for domains and hosting, but these are not really good value. Godaddy does have a handful of good reseller and control panel packages, but they do not come cheap. And they have a horribly confusing user interface.

The best thing about Godaddy is that it does not require any registrations. There is no buying or selling of domains or hosting packages. It’s completely automated.

But how can we compare Godaddy and Namecheap? We can start by comparing service offerings. Namecheap offers lots of hosting options, and they also offer control panels, domain transfers, dedicated server, custom domain names, and more.

For the most part, all of these features are easily available with Godaddy. It is possible to transfer over email accounts, domain names, and other types of accounts. But they don’t offer control panels or registrars. They do have an excellent customer support system, but that is really it.

As far as domain transfer goes, it is all really the same with both of these. They offer easy domain transfers, and they have great support. They do charge quite a bit of money for these services, though.

So, are we really comparing Godaddy and Namecheap? Probably not. Let’s take a look at one way to compare the two, and get an idea of what the best value really is.
