I’m not a Cloudways or Bluehost fan, but I recently read an article comparing the two hosting services. The result was surprising to me, and it really doesn’t make sense for most people.
Let’s start with Cloudways – I don’t like them because of their inability to make their features available to customers. They have a nice “big daddy” website with very little information about how to make it work.
I think they should have made it easier for customers to get everything from their website, but I think most would disagree with me. I don’t like it, and I think this is why I use Bluehost.
Next is Bluehost, and here is another issue I have with their service. They have very little disk space available, and I think they are seriously lacking in the customer service department.
The number one reason they have issues with customers is because they simply don’t know how to take care of their website. They don’t want to do it themselves, so they don’t offer support.
Even when they do have customer service, it’s only for a certain amount of time per year. So if you want to have your website running perfectly, you will have to renew your contract each year.
The bad part is that you only get to pay for what you use. So if you don’t get to use all the space you’re paying for, you will never get the money back.
Cloudways is a good way to go if you want to host a website without a lot of technical knowledge. You can get tons of hosting options and even unlimited bandwidth.
You also get free backup, and unlimited domains. You can get a VPS dedicated server, a shared server, and you can also get managed hosting and virtual servers.
With Bluehost, you can get unlimited domains, up to 10 virtual servers, and different prices for shared or managed hosting. So you can get exactly what you need.
When you compare Cloudways and Bluehost, you really don’t get the whole picture. You’ll end up with a hosting plan that you don’t need and you will end up having to pay more than you had to.
